During the month of August, 2020 we ran a successful Kickstarter campaign not only to bring Barony to the Nintendo Switch, but also to produce an additional DLC bringing even more content to the game!As of September 3rd, 2020 the campaign has ended in success. About the Game
Barony is the premier first-person roguelike RPG with cooperative play. Cryptic items, brutal traps and devious monsters, like those found in classic roguelikes and CRPGs, await you. Conquer the dungeon alone, or gather a perfect party in co-op with iconic and exotic RPG classes.
On July 27th, 2016 the source code for Barony was publicly released on GitHub under an open-source license, so fans of the game are free to modify any part of it as they please.

Story
Hamlet is the greatest little city in the realm. That is, it was, until the heinous Baron Herx came along and claimed the whole thing as his Barony. He enslaved Hamlet's people and now he's an awful undead lich. The whole town's been trapped in his massive dungeon for decades and now it's up to a single hero or a group of adventurers to confront him in his hellish lair and destroy him forever. Whether you will die in the dungeons or rise to victory against the Baron and his hellspawn is ultimately up to you.Team
